Mila has served as educational coordinator of Haver Serbia – a Jewish nonprofit organization seeking to create a more tolerant and open society. She has been a Madricha and Unit Head in the International Jewish Youth Summer Camp – Szarvas and a contributor to the Gesher, Limmud, and Yesod programs and the ROI Community.
Mila has been EUJS’ volunteer coordinator for more than a year on a voluntary basis and has already implemented many positive changes within our networks.
She was chosen following an open and transparent hiring process, where the hiring committee unanimously decided to offer the Executive Director position to her. She stood out through her professional work experience, her understanding of the EUJS network and that of our partners, her background as a Jewish activist and her passion and motivation to make EUJS the best it can be!
She has arrived to Brussels today, to start her transition alongside our outgoing Executive Director, Andras Ligeti. She will only officially take over the position from Andras on the 1st of September. Until then she is our Incoming Executive Director.
We’re confident this will be a successful transition process and wish her all the success in her new capacity.
