THE EMBRACING JEWISH DIVERSITY PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING INCLUSION AND EMPOWERMENT FOR ALL MEMBERS IN JEWISH COMMUNITIES, WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON LGBTQIA+ JEWS, JEWS OF COLOUR, JEWS WITH DISABILITIES, MIZRAHI AND SEPHARDI JEWS, AS WELL AS ON AN ENDURING ISSUE: WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT. BY UNDERSTANDING THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FACED BY THESE COMMUNITIES, WE AIM TO CREATE A MORE VIBRANT AND DIVERSE JEWISH LANDSCAPE IN EUROPE.
European Union of Jewish Students is embarking on an exciting journey towards fostering greater inclusivity and diversity within our Jewish communities across Europe. We published a survey a few months ago and gave all Jewish communities and organizations around Europe an opportunity to answer. The findings have the potential to guide our member unions and communities in their strategic planning and inspire action on the issues of diversity, equality and inclusion within our communities and organisations.
