Born on the 21st May 1995, it is the successor of FGEI (Federation of Italian Jewish Students) and represents all italian jews between 18 and 35 years old. UGEI coordinates and unites the jewish youth organisations and the over 4000 young jews living in Italy. The Union has an official newspaper, born in 1949, named HaTikwa and an official event and parties department, created in 2020, named REWiBE.
