Largest gathering of Jewish students and Young Adults in Europe
Summer U 2021 happened in Viterbo, Italy, where we were part of an exciting campaign and general assembly, seeing passionate candidates going head to head in debates to win over the crowds. Besides the elections, the first part of the General Assembly saw passionate motion debates, from protecting our environment to expressing solidarity with Afghanistan.
The EUJS Gala of this Summer University was a special evening for all the participants and it was organized in the presence of relevant figures for our Jewish communities. We had the honor of hosting Noemi Di Segni, President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, Dror Eydar, Israeli Ambassador to Israel, and Katharina von Schnurbein, European Commission Coordinator on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life. Our guests presented the first-ever EUJS awards to the winning activists at the end of the gala!

Summer U Team
Summer U 2021 would not be possible without the help of our incredible SU Makers. This year, 20 volunteers from 11 different countries helped to shape and support the programs from the beginning.
These volunteers have gained valuable skills in program and community building that they can apply on a local level. Thank you very much!
