Last week alumni of EUJS Ambassadors to the United Nations Human Rights Council seminar, Maurice Kirschbaum, together with EUJS Board Member, Noam Yossef attended the 32nd session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva. Maurice addressed the council in the General Debate on Item 3 (Promotion and protection of all human rights, civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to development), delivering a statement on migration and the refugee crisis in Europe.
Noam spoke during the General Debate on Item 9 (Racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related forms of intolerance, follow-up and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action), stressing the importance of tackling the rise of antisemitism on university campuses.
