EUJS wins “Interfaith Award” at WUJS Congress

EUJS is proud to have been awarded this year’s “Interfaith Award” at WUJS Congress.

The award was given for a week-long seminar organised by EUJS and WSCF-E in Litomysl, Czech Republic. The seminar focused on European policy and the way it affects the practice of religion both in public and private life. These were controversial subjects and gave light to wider moral debates about mutual respect. Examples of issues discussed were: school prayers, ritual slaughter, sex education in public schools and same-sex marriage. The seminar included lectures as well as small-group discussions.

We thank WUJS for this award and look forward to continuing our partnership with WSCF Europe.
