Czech Republic
President:
Emma Günsberger

Czech Union of Jewish Students was founded in 1990 as part of the Czechoslovak Union of Jewish Students with the aim of restoring Jewish life by celebrating important Jewish holidays and organizing other cultural activities for young Czech and Slovak Jews. The Czech Union was then officially established in 1996. One of the main goals of ČUŽM is to maintain a young Jewish community with respect for the various currents of Judaism in the Czech Republic. Other long-term goals of ČUŽM are also the active prevention of manifestations of anti-Semitism and racism and the protection of the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
